Humans are driven to explore the unknown and push the boundaries of scientific and technical limits. Now more than ever, the space industry is booming. Every year, billions of dollars are spent by space agencies around the world. Is this investment worth it, or should governments pull the plug and spend it elsewhere? Some claim that it is a complete waste of time, money, and resources. However, space exploration has proved itself to reap countless benefits. Through addressing the challenges faced in relation to space exploration, technology is expanded and new industries are created. Space exploration is vital for humanity’s advancement; therefore, investing in it would result in new technologies, space mining, and the preventions of asteroids.
