Student’s textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers because of the following reasons;
The first reason of why student's textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers is that there is a need to protect natural resources. This is because textbooks are made from products of trees that are cut down for the entire purpose of making paper materials and books. Therefore, by using notebook computers will eliminate manufacturer of papers and indeed natural resources such as manmade and natural forests will be protected for the future generation
The second reason of why student’s textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers is that sometimes waste materials and the waste products that come from paper manufacturing companies are major agents that pollute the environment. The emissions will pollute environment particularly, the air that is inhaled by the human being that will cause disease that affects human health (Larson & Murray, 2017).
Another reason of why student's textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers is that, emissions that are produced in the manufacture of papers have an immense effect on the ozone layer of the earth which will at long last becomes thread on earth in a way that, more heat will reach the earth surface and makes natural vegetation dries also, animals will lack water to drink as a result of drying up of natural water sources
In addition, student's textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers since materials in computer can be exchanged with one another through the mail or other social media platform with other students from another side of the earth without necessarily traveling.
Similarly, another reason of why student's textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers is that computers will safe information as a soft copy for a long time for future reference than textbooks. Since hard copies can be easily destroyed and the information will be lost. Computers are safe place for saving information where students will re-ready when revising for their studies
A similar reason of why student's textbooks should be replaced by notebook computers is that people have migrated from an analog world to digital in every human action. For instance, most of offices have eliminated paperwork that was being used to keep information of the organization; nowadays all organizations are using computers to do their work.
Also, the computer makes work easy and convenience. When compared materials within computer and those in the textbook, those in the computer are convenient to ready and reduce the volume of storage since text books occupy large space to keep them in the library. Also, one computer can carry as more as ten thousand books in which ten thousand hard copies of books will need a large space which is expensive to a student to store.
