ABSTRACT.
It involved industrial practical exposure to the theoretical knowledge learned in the school. Apart from industrial technical operations, training period helps build professional skills and enhances networking through social interactions. As safety measure, which is highly valued by whole Sphinx fraternity all persons working within the company are inducted and trained on safety, issues as highlighted in the report. Safety enhancement measures are applicable within and outside the plant in residential places. As an industrial chemistry student, industrial training involves the production and laboratory quality assurance section.
Being a pharmaceutical company, the operations undertaken mainly revolved around manufacturing all forms of drugs like, solid orals (tablets, capsules, dry suspensions), liquid orals (syrups, suspensions), and VET(Milking salve,) water treatment plant and chemical laboratory analysis, sterilization, spray drying, cleaning in place, packing ,laboratory quality testing and stability testing. The work experience involved listening to the expert talk, note taking, manual reading, observation and most importantly one on one doing by my own. In conclusion the report highlights the major operations undertaken, company operation guides, policies and some lab practical procedures
