Executive summary
Population has grown and so the demand for health care has increased. At the same time, the rate of birth rates has been growing with an increasing rate during the previous five years. This has lead to shortage of space in the maternity ward where women normally deliver their children. Some of the patients end up missing beddings which forces nurses to allocate more than one patient on one bed. This action is not healthy and it has resulted to transmission of diseases in some cases (Muro, 2001). Clients now complain on the health care’s poor services which force some of them to opt delivering from their homes instead of visiting the health center.
In solving this problem, we have decided to contract more building in order to provide enough space for expectant mothers. This will require; construction of a building for the enough space, purchasing of other materials such as beds, mattresses and beddings as well as more equipments to be used in providing those services (Patnaik, 2009).
This proposal is, therefore aimed at seeking for funds in order to fund this investments activity. Its main aim is to improve on the health care of expectant mothers so as to save their lives as well as those of their new born children. In executing this project the amount of funds that will be required to make it effectively implemented amounts to 10,000 US Dollars. 5000 US Dollars which is a half of this amount will be used to contract the building, 2500 US dollars is estimated to be used in buying beds, mattresses among other bedding materials where as the other 2500 US dollars will be used to purchase the equipments used in providing those services (Muro, 2001). On top of this, additionally fund approximately 1000 US dollars will also be required to hire some more workers so as to enhance quality and timely service delivery. The total budget therefore will account up to 11,000 US dollars.
