Depression according to (Jorm et.al, 2013) is considered to be a serious medical condition that results from chemical imbalances in the brain. A person in this condition generally feels sad, dejected and lukewarm. Depression is commonly experienced by adults, with women on the lead, but this does not dispute the fact that children can also suffer from the same condition. The study conducted by BMC (2010) in Australia reveals that depression affects both genders with many cases of women reported. The statistics shows that 1.9% of women between 60 to 64 years were affected, 6% of women between 20 to 24 years and 4.4% aged between 40to 44 were suffering from the depression. In reference to hospitalization, women aged 25-34 were rated at 74.2 per 100000 individuals, ages 35-44 were at 360, 45-54 at 814.3, 55-64 at 1127.6 and ages 65 to 74 were rated at 1523.5 per 10 000 were hospitalized.
