Suncoast Community Health Center is located in Hillsborough County. Based on my personal experience on March 23, 2018, I realized that the center provides a broad range of health services to the community. These services include adult medicine, pediatric medicine, family medicine, women health, family planning and obstetrics. The center provides affordable services considering the fact that it is a non-profitable organization. The services payment, made at the time of service delivery, are pegged on the family income and the number of its members.
The organization has registered nurses. These nurses execute physicians` orders such as issuing prescribed drugs to the patients. They do check on their response to drugs and provide coaching to the clients on managing their own health. Nurses provide a pivotal role in a community health. They help in linking members of a community to access to health services. They go a notch higher to use their competency in the provision of adequate health care delivery to communities regardless of its cultural diversity. This insight elevates nurses to change agents. They spearhead necessary reforms in the healthcare sector, taking leading roles to champion the needs of a client.
