Lung Transport Proposal: Development of Support for Change Initiative
A change initiative in the process of organ transplant is often caused by new inventions of technology or a fundamental breakthrough in the analysis of previous patient cases. It is noted that many transplant cases result in complications of heart or kidney conditions. This change initiative proposal utilizes the cases results in predicting a better approach to the practice of lung transplant. Lung failure is a rapidly increasing case for many patients in hospitals for reasons of lung cancer and other pulmonary complications associated with industrial effuse and technological progress (Sigmon & Grady, 2001). Over the years, various methods and mechanisms of the process have been identified for various institutional and patient specific intervention modules. This project is intended to provide the institution with a set of workable mechanisms designated to various patient needs.
Rationale/ Problem Statement for Proposed Change Initiative
Previous surgical processes for lung transplant have required extensive mechanical support for dilation and palpitation support. These mechanisms have been entirely costly and demand very delicate care both during the process and in the patient recovery stages. It is therefore desirable that cheaper and more effective mechanisms for the operation could be developed. The increasing number of lung failure cases demands a rapid response and rapid deployment of practitioners to solve complication that is fast becoming commonplace.
Significance / Impact of Change Initiative
The change initiative is important because it will contain the rapid increase in the number of patients reporting acute conditions of lung failure. The change initiate will boost the institutional preparedness, facilitation and enhance the proficiency of the practitioners both in mechanism and in capacity for successful response to the problem of lung failure (Reemtsma et al, 1993).
Expected Benefit / Change Outcomes
The change in the procedure of the surgical module is expected to bring about greater survival outcomes. It is also expected the nature of post surgical process and attention will be less complicated for the patients and hence less costly. This proposal therefore is projected to reduce post surgery care cost and other costs associated with patient care. Moreover, the proposed procedure is less complicated and the practitioners can perform the procedure with little mechanization and little technical support for the patients.
The institution will be able to improve its capacity for patients with lung failure and the overall efficiency in handling the problem. Moreover, the organization will improve the mechanism and approaches to the operation and therefore improve the internal synergy and excellence regarding the medical complication (Pierson III, 2006). Most importantly, the organization will cut the cost of care and post operation attention attributed to patients. Unlike ...
