Diversity Management is a Significant
Diversity management is a significant issue that poses several hurdles when managing human resources in the healthcare industry; (Carr-Ruffino, 2018), highlights the fact that many managers still have trouble hiring and overseeing a diverse team. The conflict between groups is exacerbated by poor management of workplace diversity, mainly when it occurs amongst specific employees within a company with multiple locations. Geographically dispersed businesses in the US deal with staff diversity. It is crucial to emphasize that as minority group representation in the workforce has grown recently, it has become harder to manage diversity to ensure an overall improvement in organizational performance (Borkowski, 2019).
Improved organizational effectiveness and increased innovation are two factors that can help a business succeed through successful diversity management by fostering a varied and inclusive workplace (Buchbinder, 2017). Furthermore, in today's highly dynamic sector, effective diversity management encourages employee innovation and creativity, which leads to developing new services and products to satisfy shifting consumer demands and expectations. Therefore, ineffective diversity management would make it difficult for an organization to come up with solutions to problems that affect individuals or groups at work or to develop new goods and services that satisfy customer needs and expectations in today's highly dynamic market (Carr-Ruffino, 2018).
