I interviewed one APN to get to know the transition that APNs go through, their roles, challenges they encounter during their practices, and the solution to their problem.
Transition in APN.
According to the APN I interviewed, it is critical to be a professional student who acquires information from various sources to meet these difficulties. If new skills and knowledge are obtained, and other people's opinions are accessible, the independent decision-making process would be less time-consuming and more complicated (Tracy & O'Grady, 2019). The APN said that new nurses must be prepared to make judgments based on their education, experience, and the experiences of others. It is critical to concentrate on time leadership and management abilities to mitigate the negative impacts of pressure during the transition period. Effective delegation and time management are essential for accomplishing work in a short amount of time. that will meet these objectives if a strong emphasis is placed on communication skills development. Tracy & O'Grady (2019) introduced their research by stating the setbacks experienced when a shift from RN to NP is seen, where poor morale and substantial turnover among nurses are drawbacks supporting their research. According to the APN I interviewed, one key finding is that professionalism and workload are two characteristics that might significantly impact.
