Discussion 1:
For this Discussion, you will consider a behavior of yours or of a family member for which an intervention might be needed. This Discussion is designed to expand your view of ABA to working with individuals other than those traditionally served by this approach (i.e., children and adults who are not diagnosed with ASD or an intellectual disability). To do so, you will need to explore the literature to find other applications of ABA.
Post your design of an intervention for a behavior with which you are familiar (e.g., for yourself or a family member) and that uses techniques discussed in this course (Note: You are not to implement the intervention, just design and justify the use of one.)

A motivating operation (MO) has two main functions: a) to alter the effectiveness of some stimulus as a reinforcer, and b) to alter the current frequency of all behavior that has been reinforced by that stimulus. Motivating operations can be classified into two types: unconditioned motivating operations (UMOs) and conditioned motivating operations (CMOs).
For this Discussion, you will develop examples of CMOs and stimulus control as related to human behavior, and you will discuss differences between CMOs and stimulus control with your colleagues.

In my family, I have observed one of the hyperactive members. Hyperactivity refers to being abnormally active, thus making it difficult for others to manage the condition.
