Introduction to conflict
Whenever two or more people disagree on something, and in different ways, there is a conflict that arises. Conflict arises at a time when individuals differ in opinions, interests, and values and are unable to reach an agreement. Therefore, we can define conflict as a clash between parties or people due to different thoughts, understanding, attitudes, perceptions and requirements (Mikkelsen & Clegg 2018).
Workplace conflict.
When conflict arises in the workplace, it becomes an inevitable ingredient for both workers and leaders. Sometimes we can regard conflict as a good ingredient in a workplace because it tells how much each employee is committed to their work (Mihaylova 2022). Therefore, conflict can help to promote positive change. From the above illustration, we can define workplace conflict as to any form of conflict that may occur in the workplace among managers and their workers or the workers themselves.
