The United States government shares its authority among three arms of government, including; judiciary, legislature, and executive. These branches interrelate with each other to establish power and run the operations of the government. Each of these branches is responsible for performing particular responsibilities as stipulated in the US constitution. The branches are required to collaborate when promoting the balance of power and pushing the government's agenda. The Americans elect the President and the Vice President in a fair election. The President later set up the Cabinet who will execute the government agenda. The President is the head of the federal government. He is also the Commander in Chief of the United States armed forces. Notably, the President can serve for a maximum of two terms each four years. The Vice President assists the President. He or she becomes the President if the current President is deemed unfit to serve. The Cabinet is selected by the President and approved by the majority senators. They advise the President on the diverse issues that relate to the government agenda.
