I believe Australian race relations can be reviewed with regards to white race privilege, aboriginal dispossession, multiculturalism, unequal representation of aboriginals in parliament and racial inequality in labor unions.
Race is one of the fundamental factors in the development of the Australian law jurisprudence as any other kingdoms or states. It is my conviction that the United States of America is one of the classical examples where this theory has been explicit and seen a significant element in the development of political, economic and cultural ethos of the people. The critical race theory has been seen to work in the USA; however, it has been neutralized by the patriarchal character of the Americans (Adelaide.Behrendt, L. 2008). Other coherent factors that keeps the people of Australia ahead of other people is the possession of the white and the conventions brought before the Courts of law within and outside Australia. Having read the case of Yorta Yorta, I am of the opinion that the case is well expounded in the high court’s decision of the Yorta Yorta. In this case the court was of the view that the issues of land remains an emotive issue in Australia, however, the court acknowledged that traditional laws and customs will apply where land is disputed between the immigrants and the natives.
