Immigrant Predicament
In days, weeks, or months, we encounter several increasing cases of a migrant predicament; the trend is rising at an alarming rate leading to various questions towards the United States of America border. How comes the migrant is overcoming the border's security, 'is it that the border is so porous or is the issue to with the incompetent security personnel guarding our border?'. The issue has led to a rampant discussion on the state of our security, like how comes we can manage to take our soldier to other war-torn countries to stabilize those countries while at the same time failing to secure our border. As narrated in the book 'The Far Away Brothers', the Author Lauren Markham highlights numerous important points asserting that the United States of America's government should be culpable for the border's crisis. She proceeds to find the leading cause of the problem at the edge, unlike many others just pointing blame fingers toward the border's security. She narrates that the main reason why migrants are still endangering their lives to cross the border irrespective of the consequences they might face if arrested is violence. According to her, this violence's genesis has an exact trace in the United States of America. This gang violence was generated by the gang members from the United States of America sent to their native country El Salvador.
