The civil war of 1830 in the United States plunged the country into slavery which turned to be a tussle to transform (Okie,2017). The impacts of slavery can be both negative and positive to the individual, persecutor and the country involved.

In the North led by President Lincoln, the inhabitants dreaded being slaves especially the black Americans. The North was characterized by democracy. The political differences led to a compromise in military operations. This led to a political imbalance between the unionists and the confederates. This weakened peace and harmony of the military union and the leaders of both North and South America.
Slavery through the civil war impacted the economy in the United States both positively and negatively.
