Industrialization has the potential of significantly changing entire economies. The industrial revolution drastically changed all aspects of life. It was as a result of major technological breakthroughs. Inventions that changed agriculture, trade and manufacturing were at the center of the revolution. The revolution had a lasting impact on people’s lives though not all classes felt the benefits. The already wealthy and well connected as well as skilled individuals were the major beneficiaries. Occupations such as accountants, merchants, machine operators and shopkeepers promoted the working class to a higher social class (Hartwell, 2017). They were able to afford comfortable lives and endeavored to educate their children so as to maintain or rise above the social strata.
