Speech on Federalist side
Students Name

In order to live a liberal world, then it is important for each and every one of us gathered here today to understand the real reason as to why we are in support of the federalist side. As a result, we will be able to defend our arguments with the best and possible facts available to ensure that we end up on the winning side.
One of the reasons as to why I believe that the federalist’s arguments have influenced my decision is that it will be good to limit the power of the state in order to create a more effective federal government. In consideration to this, the limiting of power will ensure that there is a separation between the state governments and the national governments with less involvement of the state government. In turn, the federal government will have the power to make important decision regarding the nation and in turn, limiting the power of the states to govern the local people. However, given the fact that the anti-federalists advocate for the state government to be offered more privileges in the government, then it is very possible that the nation is going to end up with a two party system in order to accommodate the needs of every individual.
Also, the argument of the federalists that the constitution protects all has also influenced me to support this side. A strong nation requires common rules that does not favor anyone and, therefore, ensuring that the nation is governed by a common constitution will bring the effect of equality among the people. The constitution will provide power to the federal government enabling them to make decisions that will be aimed at the protection of everyone (Duncan, 2015). Such protection is important because it gives the people an assurance that the government is concerned about their needs. Looking on the other side of the anti-federalists who are advocating for a separate bill of rights, then I think that there is a great possibility that the nation will end up in a two party system to ensure that the government is facing some level of opposition in order to cater for the needs of everyone.
To add on the above mentioned point, I am also influenced by the federalist’s argument regarding the scrapping of articles of confederation because it expresses a lot of inadequacies of the federal government. The federal government is a necessity because it will unite the various states into one big nation hence making it possible for the people to live under one ruling. Therefore, it will be necessary to scrap off the article of confederation in order to give way for the federal government to rule without any obstacles. A strong and competent central government will play a substantial role of driving the whole nation into advanced levels of economic growth. However, our counterparts argue that the articles of confederation should be amended instead of com...
