There were numerous issues in America, especially racial differences that required the intervention of courageous people to bring about change. One such point that was a significant problem was slavery. The many people in the South of America were slaves, and the imbalance led to the various activists taking charge to end slavery in America (McAdam, 2017). One such movement was the Underground Railroad Network. The network was one of the many movements aiming at freeing people from slavery gradually with critical influencers like Harriet Tubman. The Underground Railroad Network had an origin, a structure, and organization, strategy and tactics, and impacts and outcomes during its existence. The movement employed theories and tactics of social movement organizations in the implementations of the abolition agenda.
