There are has been technological advancements that the world has marveled at, and these advancements have a lot of impact on society. There is a need to have user policies that promote computer ethics, discussing the parameters of computer influence in artificial intelligence and human communication in the workplace. User policies need to create ethical standards that address technological issues at the workplace. One principle that should be included in an ethical computer use policy include access to company technology. The electronic resources in the company are meant for employee and employer use and it should be limited to them only, and authorized customers. People should only use accounts, files and computer resources that they are assigned under their accounts (Barquin, n.d.).
