The internet simply referred to as the ‘net’ means an interconnection of computer systems. The aim is to provide data, information, communication, and others. The information required is usually updated and stored online by computers known as servers. It is then retrieved by users when needed through channels known as the network. As an online service providing a wide range of information, it has got its benefits and demerits, as discussed below.
To begin with, the existence of the internet has bridged the globe to one small village. In the current days, news updates about what is happening in the other parts of the world can be shared and spread across the globe just in a minute! Thus, it has simplified the old norm of waiting for specific hours to get news.
Concerning its unification, the internet has also made it possible to communicate and pass information over a long distance with much ease. People talk and share information across the globe with the means of yahoo, g-mail, hotmail, and other platforms.
