Government agencies have found it difficult in enhancing laws that are concerned with copyrights. This is because different arguments are being fielded different laws that are supposed to govern criminal activities. The law of copyrights have been made difficult to be implemented as the sharing of materials has become more frequent such that proving the origin is a difficult task. With the rising of the internet as an avenue of sharing of materials it has further complicated on how the control measures can be implemented to ensure that the laws are observed.
Sites like You Tube from which individuals can buy copyrights from have made it difficult for the identification of who has the access to a given material and who is not. The originators of any particular information is one of the fundamental things. However, internet has made the sharing of the materials to be so faster that it has become a hard task for the government law enforcement agencies ensuring that the laws are upheld. The faster spread of materials in the internet has almost rendered the efforts of the government fruitless (Farhad).
Another issue that has made it even complicated for the laws of copyright to be upheld is the international jurisdiction. Different states in the world have adopted different laws regarding copyrights and this has to be respected. However, some of the nations are not serious with the implementation of the copyright laws and some are not. However, this laws have been made it difficult for the jurisdiction to be ensured as some states break this laws.
