According to social scientists, the cycle of violence is the recurrent and hazardous act of inhumanity that occurs in a certain manner regardless of where it occurs. Factors that contribute to social violence are age, gender, race, social class, and sexuality. Cycles of violence take different forms, such as tension building, battered phase and honey money phase. The available data shows that social class determine whether people will be involved in crimes or not. Information presented suggested that poor people commit hordes of crime compared to financially stable individuals. Another factor that contributes to the cycle of violence is age. The imperative from the data presented exhibited that people below 30 indulge in most criminal activities. Social scientists, however, attempted to interpret this data to infer vivid meaning. However, sociologists try to parse these data to understand what they mean. For instance, people below the age of 30 may be inordinately accused of violence and detained.
