There exist thirteen border walls around the world that separate different countries are enhancing legal migration between them. The US-Mexico border wall is among the thirteen world border walls covering approximately 1900miles of Us-Mexico land. The intention behind the construction of the US-Mexico wall was to ensure legal immigration, as well as to strengthen border security between the United States and Mexico. Recently, the United States government has noted that the border is fueling introduction of more criminal activities in its cities that are believed to originate from Mexico. The failure of the US-Mexico border can be evident through; illegal migration, terrorism, drug trafficking, firearms trafficking, spillover violence, and civil liberties among others.
Consequently, the US-Mexico border failure has raised a red alarm to the American government, and thus, the American president Donald Triumph vowed to construct a much bigger and stronger wall. According to Donald Triumph, the Mexican are taking advantage of the wall failure by ripping off the United States even more than any country has ever done before. The new US-Mexico border wall is estimated to cover 1000miles with the natural barriers casing the rest of the border. The new US-Mexico wall intends to improve security. However, it will have an extra implication on the Mexico government.
The Impacts of US-Mexico Border Failure
Although any country border should satisfy the interest of the two bordering countries in terms of fair trade, security, as well as legal migration, US president Donald Triumph, perceived that Mexico is taking advantage of the border failure by ripping off his country economy.
