Within the recent past, there have been several debates that the world is undergoing global warming and it could get extremely hot for people to live in. According to these claims, if these temperatures go the extreme, it might be difficult even for people to even get out of their houses. However, several scientific developments are proving this matter not to be valid. Evidence actually shows that global warming might only be a baseless myth that have been passed over the years without proper proof of its existence.
Global warming- an increase in the temperatures of the planet might not actually be true. As it is argued, global warming is caused by a thick atmospheric cloud that results to drastic rise in temperatures. This might, however, not be true. According to different researches, climatic changes have been taking place as temperatures unpredictably change with time. Climatic changes are caused by other factors apart from the said carbon II oxide. Research shows that the earth was hotter for the past years than it is in the present days.
According to recent study done by Harf & Lombardi (2012), the world is not going towards global warming. According to them, global warming has been the pattern and nature of the earth for many years where the world has to get warm before getting into the ice age. It is thus, a natural process that has been recurring from century to century.
It is therefore clear that scientific claims of global warming have been challenged. According to a report by BBC in 2013, the world might have been even warmer around eight thousand years ago. After this period, the world is expected to get into the ice age. In connection to that, it is expected for the world to get warming to high temperatures before cooling or even freezing momentarily. After the second age, temperature is expected start rising up again and this pattern continues. This phenomenon might also have happened during the time of great plagues among other disastrous times.
In addition, these claims of global warming have been evidenced by increasing number of polar bears and the unchanging level of ice in the Arctic. The arctic is usually almost fully covered with ice during the summer. The square volume covered with ice varies from one summer to the other. Some renowned scientists believe that the world is headed to a cooling period that will extend almost to the end of the century (Egendorf, 2005). This process would expose the forecasts of the forthcoming warnings as misleading. With that in mind, liberals can understand the reason why we cannot trust these claims with large investments. This is because the fact of global warming is groundless and it might not even be in the reign of scientific control as they are natural events.
