The world is plagued with numerous forms of occultism. Palmistry, an ancient type of divination that is found in a plethora of communities globally, is a prime example of such practices. It is an art that entails studying a person's palms, specifically the lines, color, and shape, to predict the individual's future. Though the exact origin of palmistry is vague, scholars postulate that it originated in India before spreading to other parts of the world. I feel that the practice is interesting as similarly to other pseudoscience, it cannot be proved or disapproved.
