Knowledge management involves two types of knowledge: explicit, implicit, and tacit knowledge, and companies will always need a system to manage them. Types of Knowledge
Explicit knowledge refers to knowledge gained via incidental activities or without awareness that learning is taking place. It is the most basic form of knowledge that is readily accessible and easy to pass along because it is readily accessible (Webb, 2017).
