The rapid globalization and international economic integration have caused the significant changes in the structure of world exports and global manufacturing. The continuous development of information and communication technologies has also transformed both the structure of global production and the range of imported and exported goods. This study examines the dynamics of global manufacturing and exports on the basis of such countries, as Germany, Japan, China and the United States of America. These countries play the central role in the world economy and the dynamics of their exports demonstrate the global changes in world exports.
It is necessary to analyze the structure of exports and changes in the manufacturing of the mentioned countries. Germany is a highly developed industrial country with limited raw materials. However, the German economy is export-oriented. The development of manufacturing, logistics, and telecommunications services were the primary reasons, which caused the economic growth of Germany during the period 1985 to 2005. The increase in the machine-building and electrical industries contribute to the growth of Germany’s exports (Ullrich, 2017). The highly-developed system of financing and insurance of foreign economic activity contributes to the stimulation of German exports
