Difference between propositional logic and First order logic
Proportional logic is a sentence or a description which is either true or false; it uses objects. While, the first order logic is a formal system that uses quantifiers instead of non-logical objects. Propositional logics deals mostly with simple declarative propositions only while first order logics deals with declarative propositions as well as quantification and predicates.
Definition of terms
Proposition is a sentence that expresses a judgment; Attribute is the characteristic or feature who’s description is can be done. Term in logics is defined as the predicate or subject of a categorical proposition or sentence. Subject is defined as that forming the basic matter of thought, investigation or discussion. Predicate is defined in logics as generic term for used in symbolic formal systems. Particular is used in logics to refer to the specific group or individual within a class. Finally, universal in logics refers to that proposition in which something is asserted of all of a class.
