Not only is it due to hormonal imbalance, but traumatic and stressing moments in life may case the extreme changes in mood.

Bipolar is a metal health condition that causes extreme mood swings in humans. It is mainly genetic, environmentally influenced, or could be caused by changes in the brain structure. Not only is it due to hormonal imbalance, but traumatic and stressing moments in life may case the extreme changes in mood. The changes are not normal as the emotions go extremely high or very low (Ali & Keil, 2019).
The condition can have many types including bipolar 1 and 2. The main difference between the two exist in the severity of the depressive episode. One with bipolar 1 will experience a full manic episode, while with bipolar two will experience a hypomanic episode.
