Introduction
From a broader perspective, the Eastern world affirms and accepts what is offered to them as truth, and people there are more concerned about balance (how life is lived and the harmony that exists between the mind, the body, and the soul). The social responsibility people have in society both individually and as a group. Westerners, on the other hand, strive and seek to determine and prove whether what has been given to them is the truth and is more concerned with the rights of individuals. Philosophy in the East is highly influenced by Buddhism, Islam, Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism, and integral yoga, while philosophy in the west is widely influenced by Christianity, Science, Logic, and Rationalism.
