PERSONAL WORLD VIEW
Name:
Institution:
Introduction.
My personal world view is that the existence of the world is by creation by God. Everything exists because God created it. The essay is going to address on various things that we keep on imagining as human beings and some views on it.
Spirituality
According to Haught (2008), the traditional meaning of spirituality is basically a process of re-formation which "aims to recover the original shape of man to the desire and look like the image of God. To accomplish this, the re-formation is oriented at a mold, which represents the original shape. Traditionally, spirituality refers to a process of re-formation of the personality but there is no single, agreed-upon definition of spirituality (Haught, 2008). On the other hand, Pluralism is used in different ways across a wide range of topics. It heavily denotes a diversity of views and stands rather than a single approach or method of interpretation. It has various meanings and approaches as viewed by people in the world.
Benefice Pluralism, this is a situation in the sense of holding multiple ecclesiastical offices and command being the leader. Cosmic pluralism, the belief in numerous other worlds beyond the Earth, which may possess the conditions suitable for life beyond and life therein. We also have Cultural pluralism, this is when small groups within a larger society maintain their unique cultural identities (Ryder, 2012). Legal pluralism, acknowledges the existence of differing legal systems in the world apart from that Journal of Legal Pluralism, a peer-reviewed academic journal that focuses on legal pluralism. Last in the list is Methodological pluralism this is the view that some phenomena observed in science and social science require multiple methods to account for their nature. (Ryder, 2012). Religious pluralism, the acceptance of all religious paths as equally valid, promoting coexistence in nature. Scientific pluralism, the view that some phenomena observed in science require multiple explanations to account for their nature. Structural pluralism, a concept used to examine the way in which societies are structured (Ryder, 2012).
Scientism
According to (Sorrel, 2012)"Scientism is a matter of putting too high a value on natural science in comparison with other branches of learning or culture. It has been defined as the view that the characteristic inductive methods of the natural sciences are the only source of genuine factual knowledge and, in particular, that they alone can yield true knowledge about man and society"
Postmodernism
According to Hassan (2014), Postmodernism is a movement in the arts, architecture, and criticism that was a departure from modernism. Postmodernism majorly includes skeptical interpretations of culture, literature, art, philosophy, history, economics, architecture, fiction, and literary criticism. It has a lot of things to do with culture and its relation with various arts (Hassan, 2014).
"Prime" means ‘of first importance’. "Reality" means ‘a condition or thing as it actually exists’. Thus we may simply say that in regards to the truth of God, His Word is truth and only in God’s Word as led by the Spirit of God, may we find morally true prime reality. That is, God must be ‘prime’ or first in all things we think, say and do for He is the eternal God to whom all things are and must be subject. We find this thought, for example, in Colossians 1: "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence" (Col. 1:18).
We add that the Word of God is also "prime reality" in that it must also be submitted to by each soul—for all are responsible to God. It is the revealed mind of God for man. Anyone who spurns the divine, inspired Word will reap everlasting judgement. Here is what God has to say about His Word. Jesus (who is God the eternal, only begotten Son) said; "Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away" (Luke 21:33).
The nature of the world around us is that God created everything on the world. All the plants and all kinds of animals that exist as part of nature were definitely created by God. Suprisingly people don’t still believe on the existence of God. But The Bible quotes in Genesis 1:1 that in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Another world view question is what human being is. Off course it is me and you. Human being is the coworker of God. As human beings we were all created by God and given the mandate to manage all the beautiful creation and after creating us on the sixth day. Human beings are the sons and daughters of God.
What happens to a person after death is actually beyond our human understanding. But the truth is that after death a person waits to be judged according to his own deeds when he was living in the earth. The judgment of the Lord Our God will be upon him or her. That will occur when Jesus C...
