Introduction
An addictive behavior can be understood as a stimuli that is related to how an individual behaves. They may include sex or food and are both rewarding and reinforcing. Behaviors become addictive when one does actions that cannot be controlled by his/her conscious and are dependent on a chemical substance or an activity (Johnson, 2016). Any behavior, object, activity or substance which is crucial on a person’s life and cannot do without or has even affecting the person mentally, physically or mentally is viewed as an addiction. Behavioral addictions are addictions that involves the behavior of an individual. The addictive behaviors form a basis of addictive thoughts and behaviors. Most people believe that addiction or addictive behaviors only happens when one depends on substances such as drugs. However, most activities that are done so normally that it is hard to believe they become addictive. Africans are not left behind, most of the actives they do often become addictive. Many factors may influence the behaviors of Africans.
