Weather phenomenon has been the main cause of air crashes in the recent past despite the efforts of technicians and astronomers to curb it. The extreme weather situation is the possible cause of the crash that occurred a few days ago. The Lion Air jet crashed off the resort island in Bali region, and despite some people linking the crush to intoxicated pilots and faulty equipment, it is evident enough that the cause was Mother Nature. Whereas the administration states that they will not respond to any questions for about one month, certain scholars associate the case with the heavy rains that are said to lessen visibility and a downdraft that occurred as a result of storm clouds might have forced the aircraft down (Francis & Flottau, 2013). Astronomers confirm the fact that wings can swiftly alter the direction of aircrafts in the tropics particularly when thunderstorms are being experienced.
