Being bilingual has been an enormous benefit in my life. It allowed me to become a dependable source when it comes to the occupation. I was able to have more opportunities. It was easier when I learned new languages because I understand different grammar structures. I can help other people with a language barrier between Korean and English language. Looking back, it was challenging to grow up as a bilingual child, but it has benefited me in many ways.
More so, being bilingual has assisted me in interacting with diverse groups of people in America and thus understood well the nuances attached to the English speakers' culture. I have developed relationships with a lot of allies in the United States, thus expanding my hobbies. I have also developed the comprehension of their foreign music, literature, among other related hobbies. Cultural knowledge of both the English Speakers and the Koreans has right away been part of me.
