Although there have been great strides to ensure that every U.S. citizen achieves the American dream, the social atmosphere tends to remain unstable over the years. Police profiling has been among the most hotly debated issues across the U.S. For example, the recent racial discrimination case, which led to George Floyd’s death, has been considered the worst scenario of police brutality and prejudice. The incident saw numerous Americans from different ethnicities protest and passing the message ‘black lives matter’ within the streets. Notably, police profiling is a serious concern in the U.S. because it often influences racism, inequality, and favoritism, consequently causing the loss of innocent lives in society.
