The Electoral College
The Electoral College is a body of electors that forms every four years after the presidential elections in the US to elect the new president and vice president of the US. The college comprises of 535 senators and congressmen drawn from the different states in the country. Each of the members cast votes on behalf of its state to elect the president and his deputy. I think that the Electoral College as is currently constituted does not serve its purpose well. Just as Jeff and Phil argue, it is a waste of time for the American public to cast their vote in favor of their choice candidate only for a few people to overturn their wish (2).
