For a team to be successful there trust has to be in existence among the team members. The team members should be able to have trust between them and also have trust in the leader of the team. Trust usually creates an environment where the team is able to flourish and the team members are able to constructive criticism of each other.
The time when I felt I could not trust my team members was when three out of five team members were not able to deliver on a task which we had agreed each member would go and come with findings. The three members had to make us postpone our report making to another day so that they could go and finish up on their tasks.
