FIGHTING AGAINST POVERTY
Poverty in society can be defined by the lack of or inadequacy in basic human needs. Food, clean water, shelter, healthcare, and clothing constitute the basic needs individuals in the Community require for their survival. Modern society has suffered much through poverty. Due to a lack of basic needs, social work organizations have dipped into the culture to offer guidance, support, and empowerment to lift people above the poverty line.
Social work organizations have campaigned for and supported education programs for children from impoverished backgrounds. Education is regarded as both the source of information and the direction towards better professional jobs that would lead an individual to employment, salaries and fight the poverty stigma in the Community (McKay, 2018). Since obtaining a modern education has been expensive, many children have had to adopt illiterate stands. Education has been regarded as the primary need in society and not easily provided because even fulfilling the basic needs has been a significant problem. Thus, social workers have helped teach the importance of education in the Community while standing as examples in supporting children from poverty-based backgrounds in education. Poverty has been fought in society with knowledge as a standout component.

Society would not have learned the importance of working in unity without the presence of social work. By offering guidelines on alleviating indifferences that had led to Community based organizations collapsing, the society got a new shape. The investments done by the society got directed to serving the Community with water as a basic need. The accessibility of water at a reachable distance and affordability afforded people more energy and time to work and fight poverty in society.
Social workers have helped condemn corruption and smuggling of public money allocated by the governments to develop healthcare facilities in the society. Diseases invasions have led to many individuals' death in the Community due to lack of or inadequate healthcare facilities. However, governments have allocated enough for the development of hospitals and healthcare centers. Unfortunately, the leaders in society have used the allocated amounts for their satisfaction and improvement. Social workers have brought empowerment to youth by protecting those who say about what kills the Community when associated with undeveloped healthcare facilities originated from misused public allocations by leaders in the society (Ferguson et al., 2018). Since some feared being attacked by leaders when they exposed them
