Introduction
The physical learning environment has a philosophical effect on individual students, the entire classroom, and the teachers. The physical layout of a learning environment include the actual size of the room, the paint colors of the walls, the model of the floor, the quantity of light present in the classroom, and the number of windows and doors present. While the teacher cannot control the overall design of these features, they have the choice of organizing the class furniture and the material used. The physical layout provides safety, comfort, and focus on the children thus helps them to participate in the class activities effectively (Concepts, 2013). A well-designed learning environment can not only enable the children to attain their academic goals but also allow the teacher to monitor and interact with the children in a positive manner.
