The main concern of the philosophy of mind is derived from conundrums that involve attempts to come up with a coherent theory of nature and functions of the mind. Considering the nature of mind, philosophy of mind tries to examine whether mind and body are really separate on one. Supposing that the brain is taken to be immaterial while the body is material how then is it possible for the two to relate. One may argue that they are separate, it therefore, means that they should be in a position to explain the interaction between the two so that they can make up a being.
