By the end of the first placement students should demonstrate effective use of knowledge, skills and commitment to core values in SW in a given setting in predominantly less complex situations, with supervision and support. They will have demonstrated capacity to work with people and in situations where there may not be simple clear-cut solutions.
By the end of last placement/ the completion of qualifying programs newly qualified social workers should have demonstrated the knowledge, skills and values to work with a range of user groups, and the ability to undertake a range of tasks at a foundation level, the capacity to work with more complex situations; they should be able to work more autonomously, whilst recognizing that the final decision will still rest with their supervisor; they will seek appropriate support and supervision.

Current strengths:
I possess excellent communication skills that are vital for every social worker. I apply the communication skills whenever there is a conflict between individuals in my study group.
I am also courageous and this enables me to tackle people of different personalities. More importantly, I possess a creative personality and I am attentive to details.
Additionally, I am person of integrity and I therefore challenge poor practices.
