According to presumptions from a various educational institutions, the term authenticity simply has a simple meaning associated with one's personality. Authenticity is basically the degree to which an individual’s actions and whereabouts are exactly congruent with the desires and beliefs despite all odds and external pressures. Authenticity has played a vital role within the feminist, women made and queer pornography in the current generation. According to industries filming the glamorous and trendy performance of sex, the concept of authenticity is solely anomaly. This means that the realism aspect has radically changed pornography due to the creation of the expression of the authentic self in relation to sexual desires. Conversing with educational researches, pornography is not necessary to exert or accurate portrayal of what real sex is between non-actors (Roach and Shoniqua 275). Inferring over the responses, pleasure, the average genitalia and many other factors that aid in concluding that pornography simply may not be true for viewers especially couples.
Pornographic sites that film erotic films for no doubt have led to unrealistic expectations in young couples and also have aided to the damaged culture in the current generation. According to Kitty Stryker one the actors, acting may seem real in terms of sex and performability but in the real sense, she perceives her true, genuine response to pressure. This means that most the pornographic actors false fully pretend to make the act appear real which is counterintuitive. Arguing on a positive and neutral perspective without judging such young courageous women, these women have unsurprisingly changed the world’s opinion on women, sex and pleasure which is not a walk in the park task.
