           Most companies emphasize the need for inclusion and diversity in the modern workplace to strengthen the adaptability of an organization, reduce legal battles, and gain a competitive advantage. Despite these efforts by many organizations, some companies have continued to struggle with ethnic and racial policymaking and discrimination. Some of the factors that lead to this ethical issue during the hiring and promotion process include stereotypes and prejudices towards a particular race (Triana et al., 2015). It is inappropriate for an organization to have employees who are evaluated or treated based on their racial statuses.
