There is much evidence that supports the importance of supporting refugees socially. However, the knowledge thereof has not called upon the practice of developing a growing niche that corresponds to their culture, and that would help them to adapt to life in the receiving country.
On November 4, 2015, Canada had pledged to resettle 25,000 Syrian refugees by the end of February 2016. A total of 26,166 refugees had come to Canada which showed that it had fulfilled on its promise.
