The following paper presents an ethics audit report for a company that manufactures and retails children's toys. The company is called Paradigm Toys. This audit will begin with an explanation on the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR), identification of the primary and secondary stakeholders, description of the importance of ethical leadership, provision of ethical dilemmas in an organization, and development of an ethical training program for Paradigm Toys.
A. Purpose of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Corporate social responsibility refers to the activities made by an organization towards the creation of a conducive working environment, improving the social image of the company, and generally creating positive relations between the organization and its stakeholders. CSR is useful in any organization since it enables the employees to understand the mission and vision of the company. This approach enables the workforce to know the purpose of the company and the knowledge acts as a motivating factor for the employees.
