The research question presented for inquiry in this paper aims to interrogate whether credit card companies who embed their credit cards with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chips experience higher credit card fraud than credit card companies who do not utilize this technology. The evaluation of the study approach to be implemented reviews the advantages and drawbacks of using qualitative and quantitative procedures in the collection and analysis if data. In this case, the research approach would entail a correlational study of the banks which use the RFID technology on their cards versus those that do not to find out the difference. The utilization of correlation study would be good for this experiment since the investigation will be conducted on variables that can be measured to scale in an environment which might be unethical to employ other research methods (Campbell & Stanley, 2015).
The strengths of qualitative approaches for this study shows that qualitative research data is based on observations and human experiences. In conducting the assessment of the research question, one can recognize that having the unique qualitative aspect of courage to probe and observe participants.
