In my mind I pondered, “What have I been doing all this time for the past year? Does it make me successful? Can I afford luxurious objects? Do I spend too much? “I tell myself, “Where should I start?” and thus began my research. Finding my niche for an affordable spending was one thing, but what if I can spend as much as I want and still pay for those essential needs. Here is what I had in mind considering how I use my spare time, money, and self-talk.
I know that a year has 8,760 hours. Looking at how much time I spend, I see that I have been spending a lot of my time on side subjects, practically playing video games and entertainment. For approximately 45.5 hours a week I spend most in this department, making a grand total of 2,347.8 hours a year. Next, I consider family and friends estimating 60 hours a week combined totaling in 3,096 hours a year. The rest of my time goes into working and education. Having a set schedule can be difficult during courses of change so multitasking is not a must. I feel that multitasking is inefficient, because my understanding of multitasking is whenever I try doing two things at once my mind would clutter. Especially with most of the subjects I would forget important dates and times, resulting in a defective plan. From a professional researcher, “people who multitask all the time can’t filter out irrelevancy, can’t manage a working memory, and are chronically distracted.” ("The Myth Of Multitasking")
Each issue has a different amount of time adding up to how limitedly successful I am. Finding a flexible schedule will be thoroughly planned. Starting off with Recreational and entertainment being minimized, thus allowing work and education subjects to be focused. Once having my major subjects prioritized, having step by step of focused subjects will be next. Having focused subjects will help with having made the right decision making, thus preventing irrelevant subjects to emerge. Having a schedule of mostly education and work will be very tedious, allowing physical and mental power to drain, so scheduling each day with arranging oneself breaks.
