Introduction
Ethiopia which was previously known as Abyssinia is the original homegrown of Arabica (coffee) plants. It was firmly seen and blossomed in an area known as Kaffa, a province within the south-western highland, who named the plant as coffee.1 The formal use and cultivation of the plant as the beverage started early in the 9th century. Before that, the coffee plant grew wild within the Kaffa forest. According to the Ethiopians ancient history, a man called Kaldi, Abyssinia goatherd discovered coffee around AD 850. He detected his goat beating loudly and prancing excitedly after it chewed the bright and red berries which grew on the green bushes around his homestead.
