Through a review of the history of china during the world war two, it has been made clear that the Japanese had occupied part of northern china before they carried out their invasions. This was to guarantee that they fully got to assess the Chinese people and embark on a proper invasion that would guarantee their success. Despite the Japanese managing to encroach the coastal and eastern regions of China, they did not manage to get to the interior regions for a while.
