Every government must ensure the security of people within its borders. Therefore, any responsible government prioritizes global peace by offering support to neutralize terrorism since; no country or individual can claim to be entirely safe. Securing the borders of any nation today comes with a fair share of price and responsibility. The complexity of terrorism is giving governments sleepless nights due to the evolving nature of the crime. Different research teams tasked with studying global crime come up with varying recommendations; prove that terrorism undergoes metamorphosis every day. The motive of the terrorism groups remains unclear, and there is no clear distinction between the terror groups. Research indicates that terrorists can belong to any religious group, race, ethnic group, and social class. Therefore, the question that leaves many governments scratching their heads is how to understand terrorism and the motive? Should they give in to pressure from the terrorist groups? Of course, no, if nations give in to the pressure of the terrorist wishes and demands, the movement would triumph and claim global superiority. The move would thwart any efforts towards global order leading to the state of anarchy.
